Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information GoTripWay collects when you contact us or ask us to arrange travel, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

01Who we are
GoTripWay is an independent travel service provider offering booking and reservation assistance. Our contact details are at the end of this policy and on our Contact page.
We are the controller of the personal information described here, except where we pass information to a travel provider in order to make a booking, at which point that provider handles it under its own privacy policy.
02Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to answer your enquiry and to make and manage bookings on your instruction.
- Contact details — name, email address and telephone number.
- Travel details — origin and destination, dates, number of travellers, service required, and any notes you provide.
- Traveller details needed for a booking — full name as shown on your identity document, date of birth where a provider requires it, and passport or document details where the booking cannot be made without them.
- Special requirements you choose to tell us — accessibility needs, dietary requirements or medical considerations. We collect these only to pass to the provider so they can be accommodated, and only with your agreement.
- Correspondence — records of emails, form submissions and notes of telephone conversations relating to your booking.
- Basic technical information from this website, such as pages requested and approximate location derived from IP address, used for security and to understand which pages are useful.
03What we do not collect
We do not store full payment card numbers. Where payment is required, it is taken by the travel provider or a payment processor under their own security arrangements.
We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not build marketing profiles about you.
04How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide options, quotes and conditions.
- To make, change and manage reservations you instruct us to make.
- To contact you about a booking already in progress, including notifying you of a change made by a provider.
- To keep records required for accounting, tax and dispute resolution purposes.
- To protect this website and our systems against fraud and abuse.
05Who we share it with
To arrange travel, we must pass relevant details to the provider delivering it — the airline, rail operator, hotel, car rental company, cruise line, or an authorised distribution channel. Once received, that provider handles your information under its own privacy policy.
We also use service providers who process information on our behalf, such as email delivery and website hosting. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
06We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
07How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are retained for a limited period so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, and are then deleted.
Booking records are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
08Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Note that if you ask us to delete information relating to a booking that is still live, we may be unable to continue managing that booking for you.
09Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption on this website and access controls on our systems.
No system is completely secure. Please do not send passport scans, payment card details or other sensitive documents by unencrypted email unless we have specifically asked you to and told you how.
10Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels for behavioural advertising.
The location map on our Contact page is embedded from a third-party mapping provider, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
11Children's information
This website is not directed at children. We collect information about minors only where it is provided by a responsible adult in order to book travel for them, and only to the extent the travel provider requires.
12Changes and how to contact us
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
