01Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or instructing us to arrange travel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you instruct us.
02What we are, and what we are not
GoTripWay is an independent travel service provider. We provide research, comparison, booking and reservation assistance. We do not operate flights, trains, hotels, rental vehicles or cruises, and we do not hold inventory of our own.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any airline, railway, hotel, car rental company, cruise line or other travel brand unless explicitly stated in writing. All third-party trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.
We are not an immigration adviser, we do not issue visas, and we are not an insurance provider or broker.
03Our role as an intermediary
When we arrange travel on your instruction, we act as an intermediary between you and the provider that will actually deliver the service. Your contract for the travel itself is with that provider.
The provider's own terms — an airline's conditions of carriage, a hotel's booking conditions, a rental agreement, a cruise line's passenger ticket contract — govern that travel, including changes, cancellations, refunds, liability and compensation. We will give you those terms or tell you where to find them before you commit.
04Accuracy of the information you give us
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, in particular traveller names exactly as they appear on the identity document that will be used to travel.
Corrections after a booking is issued may be impossible, or may attract a charge set by the provider. Please check every confirmation on the day you receive it and tell us immediately if anything is wrong.
05Quotes, availability and pricing
Quotes are based on availability and pricing at the moment we check, and both can change until a booking is confirmed. We will tell you when a price is held and for how long.
We quote totals inclusive of the mandatory charges we are aware of. Charges arising after booking — fuel, tolls, damage, incidental charges at a property, optional extras you choose — are yours to settle with the provider.
06Service fees
Where a service fee applies, it will be disclosed to you in writing, including the amount and whether it is refundable, before you authorise anything. You will not find a charge on your statement that was not stated to you first.
Our Refund Policy sets out how service fees are treated on cancellation.
07Payment
Payment for travel is made to the provider or an authorised payment processor under their arrangements. Do not send payment card details to us by email or in a web form.
We will always tell you who is taking payment and what will appear on your statement.
08Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are governed by the provider's terms for the specific fare, rate or contract booked. Some are free, some carry a charge, and some are not permitted at all.
We will tell you those conditions before you commit, and if you need a change afterwards we will work it with the provider on your behalf — but we cannot override their terms.
09Travel documents, entry requirements and insurance
You are responsible for holding valid travel documents and meeting the entry, transit and health requirements of every country on your itinerary.
We will tell you what the published requirements appear to be and point you to the official government source, which is the only authoritative one. Requirements change without notice and we cannot accept responsibility for a refusal of entry or boarding.
We strongly recommend arranging travel insurance through a licensed provider, and doing so early, since some benefits depend on when the policy was purchased.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the assistance service we provide. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, insolvency or service failures of any travel provider, since those services are supplied under a separate contract between you and that provider.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11Use of this website
The content, layout and code of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use but may not copy, republish or use the content commercially without permission.
Photographs on this site are licensed stock imagery used for illustrative purposes. They do not depict our premises or specific properties, vehicles or vessels available for booking, and are not an offer of any particular product.
You agree not to use this website unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or to submit false enquiries.
12Complaints and governing law
If something goes wrong, tell us first — call +1 (855) 388-3640 or email support@gotripway.site and we will try to resolve it. Where the issue concerns a service delivered by a provider, we will help you pursue it with them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, save where mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
